Job title: Head of Acceleration
Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk OR Lakeland, Florida
Hours: 40 hours per week

The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to provide opportunity and drive for the business to accelerate the delivery of added value. This is delivered through the development and implementation of key processes and tools that leverage internal and external expertise, and ultimately enhance performance, prioritisation of resource and focus, and decision-making to support the overall business objectives.

What you’ll be doing

The primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
• Develop and implement an innovation acceleration strategy/approach that is underpinned by Knowledge Management principles
• Implement and design appropriate tools and processes that support the capture, storage, sharing and re-use of knowledge
• Lead key knowledge initiatives to
Engage and leverage SME communities
Share key business knowledge (with impact and consequence)
Improve the use (and development) of technologies that enable better capture, sharing and searching of knowledge
Engage with the broader business to encourage holistic approaches to delivering innovation/technical expertise and services
Engage external stakeholders, as appropriate, to leverage external best practice and benchmark opportunities
• Deliver related training/events, as appropriate, to the business, sharing expertise with others

What we're looking for

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor or Master’s degree and/or relevant equivalent extensive experience in acceleration/knowledge management.

• 10+ years of experience in ingredients and/or FMCG, ideally in beverage industry.
• Working in a similar role, with a focus on acceleration/knowledge management, preferably with international exposure.
• Strategy development capability
• Relevant experience in the application and implementation of knowledge management and collaboration frameworks
• High levels of attention to detail and strong communication skills
• An exceptional knowledge of project management principles, processes and tools
• Assertive self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Motivated and accountable for role deliverables as well as personal development
• Ability to engage and communicate at all levels of the business
• Build relationships with the ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation
• Working knowledge of financial processes, including budget preparation, reporting and analysis
