The Opportunity (General Summary)

Responsible for the planning and execution of all processes involved with the production and distribution of Treatt products. This includes scheduling, coordinating and leading the activities of the blending, sampling and shipping functions. Primary duties include effectively communicating with customer service, overseeing product blends; workload planning, inventory management and scheduling, leading and developing, team members.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintain open lines of communication with customer service to ensure the availability of Treatt products for specific customer shipping dates.
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Ensure blending sheets are prepared and provided to blending personnel in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain accurate ethanol inventory records and complete TTB Drawback forms quarterly
• Manage employee work for quality and product integrity, and conformance to standard production, packaging, and shipping procedures.
• Ensure correct labeling and timely shipment of all customer orders.
• Ensure all cost sheets; transfers and blend sheets are completed in a timely, organized and efficient manner.
• Ensure all work areas, procedures, and equipment are in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to safety and sanitation.
• Ensure all new employees receive safety and sanitation training on their first day of work and prior to beginning work in any production or plant area.
• Provide team members with ongoing training and development through effective employee coaching and feedback, administering performance development reviews, and issuing disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Track and report bi-weekly employee time and attendance information.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve all areas.
• Responsible for Halal production.
• Act in the best interest of Treatt at all times.
• All other duties as assigned or customary.

What we’re looking for

• College degree preferred but not required. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years supervisory experience in a production facility.
• Demonstrated knowledge of production regulations and procedures including but not limited to, HACCP, OSHA, GMP, HAZMAT. SDS and EPA requirements.
• Knowledge of inventory and shipping controls and procedures including number lot systems and proper packaging and labeling.
• Proven ability to plan and prioritize workloads.
• Strong math skills including algebra.
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
• Strong leadership and employee motivation and development skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously
• Skilled in the use of various spreadsheets, word-processing, and database computer software.
