We are recruiting an experienced Paralegal, with a strong interest in company secretarial. The role of the Legal and Company Secretarial department is to ensure that Treatt and its subsidiaries comply with their legal, regulatory and corporate governance obligations. This is a small team that is lean, resilient and moves with pace. The job offers a wide variety of experience both within legal and company secretarial.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be bringing bundles of enthusiasm and a fresh pair of eyes to a small team. For Legal every day is unique, the challenges we face can sometimes seem insurmountable and things can get a bit manic but we’re a cohesive team and your demonstrable resilience will be part of the glue that holds us all together. You will be using your legal knowledge and experience to protect the interests of the group through your review and drafting of contracts and be assisting with the day-to-day legal, statutory and company secretarial requirements of the Group along with undertaking ad hoc projects.

What we're looking for

We’re searching for an exceptionally organised person with a high level of diplomacy who can demonstrate that they’re a completer finisher with a passion for a job well done. You will have some commercial legal experience, preferably in dealing with commercial contracts and be interested in company secretarial, although not necessarily have company secretarial experience. You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline. If you’re enthusiastic, resilient and a master of organisation then we want to hear from you.
