Hours: Alternating Shifts of 06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00
(1 PERMANENT ROLE, 1 TEMPORARY 6 MONTH ROLE)
The Opportunity
As a Logistics Operator you will be involved in picking, packing, preparing and loading goods to ship by road, air and sea. The Logistics area is a fast-moving function, with multiple different types of product being manually handled as well as with a forklift. You will need to be confident in liaising with other departments where roles overlap in areas of shared responsibility.

What you’ll be doing
The duties and tasks comprise the following:
• Undertake training to pick and pack dangerous goods.
• Locating stock and maintaining 100% accuracy in our warehouses.
• Moving Stock across site using a FLT.
• Assessing condition of stock before picking to ensure our customers receive quality goods.
• Learning and covering other roles within our logistics department.
• Helping us to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Picking & scanning orders for despatch with a right first time approach.
• Checking driver training & vehicles for suitability.
• Loading/unloading containers.
• Learning all goods-in procedures.
• Assessing condition of all items before despatch.
What we’re looking for
• Ideally previous Warehouse experience
• A counterbalance would be preferable
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Team player
