What you’ll be doing
Due to the growth of our Product Category management team, a new role has been created to lead this team to the next chapter of success. You will work as a strategic business partner with Sales & Marketing to understand market and customer needs and deliver sustainable and profitable growth. Working closely with all areas of the business, you will drive success of each category into new markets and to new customers. Creating and delivering on financially led objectives, you will manage a suite of KPIs that deliver proven return on category management. You will be required to attend international annual sales and procurement conferences as required as well as large customer and supplier visits providing support on each of the categories. You will have exceptional leadership ability, able to create a department of high functioning, decision-making category managers who take ownership of their portfolio. You will diligently manage Treatt’s product portfolio, including stock unit optimization, to maximise profitability and create business simplicity and focus, leading product life cycle management within the categories
What we’re looking for

Ideally you will have a degree (or equivalent) in business management, accounting, or a technical field. With at least 5 years’ experience in product management, business development, supply chain, and/or functional experience at a senior level, this should include international exposure in a similar role.
The right candidate will demonstrate ability to lead and influence a culturally diverse team as a strong inspirational leader, able to coach, develop and motivate our talented team. Must be able to demonstrate a solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning with a strong commercial focus, and project management skills.
You will need to demonstrate emotional intelligence and team working. A valid passport and a passion for international travel is imperative! For UK-based applicants, a full UK driving license is required.
