**Job title:* Business Analyst IT System Support
Reporting to: Senior Business Analyst

The Opportunity
The primary role involves support for the front-line systems, including data extraction and problem solving together with a responsibility for maintaining the business process overviews, this role also involves acting as an intermediary between the IT and departmental teams Identifying and documenting business requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, and understanding the customer's needs. This position will also assist in the design, testing and implementation of new key business software systems for Treatt PLC and TUSA, ensuring the needs of the business are fully satisfied. The position will report to the Senior Business Analyst in the UK, working closely with the UK software development team and will maintain key ongoing working relationship will be with the TUSA IT Coordinator and other members of the IT team who provide first line service desk cover, support for Service Desk calls logged and problem resolution.

What you’ll be doing
The duties and tasks involve, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide user support for all key business systems relating to Service Desk requests.
• Develop and maintain important relationships will be with the managers and supervisors of all departments.
• Develop a good working knowledge for specific business applications software and business processes to support the business.
• Provide end-user training to Superusers or Department trainers or instruction as and when required.
• A good working knowledge of JD Edwards ERP business processes desirable.
• Assist in the identification, evaluation, and implementation of new 3rd party software solutions.
• Ensure a formal testing process for all software is always adhered to.
• Formalize promoted changes via the appropriate Change Control system.
• Write and maintain user documentation as and when required.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with subordinates, peers, and management.
• Keep abreast of the latest technology & development methodologies.
• Drive business efficiencies, identifying areas for improvement.
• Drive a culture of achievement and maintain momentum by identifying and making recommendations for removing barriers to aid project success.
• Keep up to date with changing IT technologies and where necessary recommend improvements to the
Business.
• Other duties as may from time to time be required.

Education & Training
• Degree or equivalent experience in Business Information Systems/Technology desirable but not essential.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in similar role.
Knowledge & Experience
• JD Edwards ERP business processes preferable but not essential
• Basic knowledge of SQL Manager would be useful (training will be given if required)
• Proven track record of IT and systems support
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies preferable
• Business Analyst experience preferable but not essential
