We are looking for a Matching Trainee to work within our Technical Department due to the existing post-holder returning to full-time study. If you’re a completer finisher with a great eye for detail and an interest in chemistry this could be the ideal job for you.

What you’ll be doing
- To blend laboratory scale prototype samples of essential oil and chemical blends for fragrance and flavour.
- To carry out the instrumental analysis for prototype blends
- To assist designated laboratory staff in the blending of essential oil prototype samples as requested.
- To sample essential oils and chemicals as needed from the warehouse.
- To keep records associated with the progress of matching of target flavour and fragrance samples in STARS and SharePoint.
- To make up tasting solutions as required, paying particular attention to hygiene and food safety and taking part in tasting trials.
