Job title: Systems Administrator - JDE Item Master
Reporting to: Planning Manager
Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk
Hours: 40 hours per week

The Opportunity

The JDE Item Master will interrogate, repair, standardise and maintain the integrity of key information within JDE. They will champion process changes to ensure right first-time data, driving and assisting with the completion of Validation Reports in other key areas. This key role sits within the Planning Team so the individual will also work closely with the Planners and be involved in a broad range of interesting and challenging functions within the department

What you’ll be doing

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to :

• Review JDE Validation Reports correcting errors as required.
• Maintain BoM Integrity Analysis.
• Create new items and packs sizes, ensuring replication of technical information.
• Create new packs for packdown and purchased packs.
• Amend BoMs for pack size changes.
• Maintain JDE Origins.
• Item Master Amendments.
• Adding Product Names to Sales List.
• Amendments to Product Category/Subcategory.
• Maintenance of Shop Floor Calendar.
• Support the Planning Team with key tasks including but not limited to:
o Raising Works Orders.
o Leadtime Requests.
o MRP processing and administration.
o Contract reporting and reconciliation.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will have :
• Good GCSE grades, ideally educated to A Level or equivalent
• Advanced JDE and Excel skills with the ability to interrogate large volumes of data.
• You will be able to work independently and prioritise effectively
• An excellent communicator influencing key stakeholders, driving cross-functional process changes.
